Discovered and introduced in the 1890’s, this plant is
still very rare. The gold color of this small tree is best when the plant is
young, becoming a bit dull as it matures. It will burn in the full sun as a
young plant and may be about 2' tall in ten years. (5)

This selection with branches that are exceptionally pendulous, laying much
closer along the trunk than those of the variable forms listed as ‘Pendula’,
grows up to 18" per year. Its foliage is typical to the species. (4)

Possibly the narrowest of the weeping forms of Serbian spruce, this
selection has the same bicolored foliage typical of the species and grows up

Bob first saw this plant growing in England, and it caught his eye because it was not an upright form. It tends to grow broader than high with pendulous foliage. It will grow about 1' per year. (5)

A bright gold sport from Picea omorika ‘Nana’, it
grows just like the parent plant but at half the rate and with exceptionally
bright foliage that does not burn in the sun. Globose when young, it eventually

A dense, pyramidal tree growing 9" per year, its foliage is bright blue. It is
further enhanced by white bark on the new growth, giving the tree an overall
strikingly blue color. Its origin is uncertain. This plant is sometimes listed

This has an outstanding gold color that burns in the sun but is still present in the shade. The undersides of the leaves have a bluish color that contrasts nicely with the surfaces.
