DOWNLOADS
Welcome to the downloads section of our web site. We have three basic types of downloads: audio, video, and powerpoint. We call them downloads because that is one of your options. The other option is to simply watch or listed to the file you are opening.
Double click a file to open it. If you want the file on your computer, right click it and save the target under whatever name you want to give it.
The only thing we ask people who copy our files is that you give credit to Robert Fincham if you make any use of them other than just for yourself.
Feel free to download any powerpoint and use it as a presentation to your local plant group or horticulture class. If you don't have the Microsoft Powerpoint Program, it should load ready-to-play, since it is packaged with PowerPoint Viewer, a free download off of the Microsoft web site. All of these powerpoints are polished presentations given by Bob to various plant groups. The voice dubbing is recent and when completed, the powerpoint is then uploaded for the use of our web visitors.
The audio files are done as mp3 files. Most of them consist of a long file broken into smaller parts for easier downloading or listening. They are interviews conducted by Bob in the early 1980's when he was gathering information for various articles in the American Conifer Society Bulletin. They have some historical value to conifer collectors.
VIDEO FILES
The video files are basic mpeg files limited to no more than a few minutes each to control the viewing or downloading time. They are mainly video views of gardens. Eventually I may move these videos to UTube, but for now they will be a part of our web site.
